Student Life In Birmingham
As you can imagine, the student life in such a big city is pretty vibrant. Every night students can find clubs doing special deals for them with Bond Street being ranked as party central among most students in the city. If clubs aren’t your thing though, I’m sure you’ll find at-least one of the hundreds of bars and pubs in the city to your liking. As well as the nightlife, the city offers up some of the best theaters, music gigs, shopping opportunities and restaurants in the country. There is literally something for everyone in a city that is only surpassed, in terms of entertainment options, by London. No matter where you are in the city, its exciting center and all that comes with it is only a short train trip away, or a longer walk if you’re feeling adventurous. However, sometimes you just don’t want to go out, and, for others, it’s not really their thing. Unlike most other uni’s, however, where students can only get involved in societies on their campus, Birmingham has so many options, be it through uni or another organizations, that you can find whatever you’re looking for to pass the time. From sports to dance lessons, drama clubs to yoga classes. So, you might be thinking there’s a catch right? All this can’t come cheap. Well, it does, sort of. While it might not be as cheap as universities in small towns, compared to other city universities, like Bournemouth, Winchester and London, the prices are absolutely jaw-dropping.
Accommodation in Birmingham
Most of the universities offer Student Accommodation in Birmingham, however, they are very pricey and, as with most uni’s, they’re only really available for first-year students.
