Two things you just need to know about Bolton, which some may argue are useless pieces of information (fools), is that the ice cream wafer sandwich was invented here and that Bolton has one of the top mountain rescue teams in the country despite not having any mountains.
The combination of these two facts just makes me picture someone stranded on a huge mountain of ice cream wafer sandwiches and the super hero ‘mountain man’ coming to the rescue…but I digress.
