I've just finished my Masters at the University of Edinburgh, and will be starting my PhD in particle physics at the University of Manchester at the start of September.
I've lived in Edinburgh for the last 5 years, but I'm initially from Dundee and Glasgow. I'm currently working part time in an outdoor mountaineering shop up in Scotland (called Tiso).
I've spent the last year (outside of my degree) doing a lot of reading, hiking, bouldering, cycling and climbing (with the Edinburgh University Hillwalking Club). I love languages, and have been casually studying Japanese for the last couple of years. I'm pretty tidy and quiet, having never hosted a party at my flat (although I do enjoy going to the pub).
I would be interested in moving into a flat with other PhD/Master's students, but would require relatively fast internet as my work may require it. Please get in touch if you'd be interested in living with me or looking for a flat together!
