Drinkwater House, started with their first student hall in 2013 and set the quality standard as well as giving it a personal touch with an on- site Management Team, dedicated to the students that live there. They then acquired the site next to them and extended to 3 blocks of accommodation which opened in 2015. They are now expanding further and opening a 4th block in 2016, which more than doubles the accommodation. They have been continuously sold out without massive marketing, as whoever books a viewing genuinely always books a room.
They invite undergraduates, postgraduates and international students and are open to all students from Teesside and Durham Universities and colleges. International students benefit from their personal representative at Drinkwater House, speaking their native language to help translate or communicate. (Mandarin, Cantonese, Hindu, Urdu, Punjabi, Bengali).
Parents of the students feel reassured when they visit and meet the Management Team and see how the company operates. Security, safety, hygiene standards, maintenance, 24-hour contact etc.
The team hold regular resident’s meetings and events to make sure all students are ok, feel at home and create the opportunity to meet like-minded people and make friends that will last a lifetime!

Contracts are for a minimum of 48 weeks. To reserve a room you pay £300 which gets transferred to your contract once signed. (£150 deposit and £150 admin fee).
